About David

David is an actor, writer and coach. 

Born in Nottingham, he moved to London to train as an actor at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He continues to work as a professional actor and voice over artist.  he is the co-founder of The Speechworks, the co-author of three books and one play, and is a much sought after speaker in the business world.  His latest book 'How to be Interesting' is an irreverent and colourful comment on being interesting, packed with fascinating quotes, outrageous humour and vibrant visual material. 

David's TV appearances include - Red Dwarf, Jasper Carrot's 'Canned Carrot', Andy Hamilton's Bedtime, and EastEnders for one year as Duncan the Curate.

David also led the cast of BBC's totally improvised Operation Good Guys comedy series, which won Gold and Silver Roses at the Montreux TV Festival. David has also appeared in Bremner, Bird and Fortune, BBC4's Stuck and Holby City.
