We returned to Edinburgh for the first time in 3 years to check out new acts, catch up with old friends generally catch up with the industry. Stand out acts for us were Emmanuel Sonubi, fresh from his break out success on Live at the Apollo, Anglo Greek comedian George Zach and deaf comedian Lara Ricote. Also a mention of Sam Campbell who actually won the main award (formerly the Perrier); surreal with flights of fancy – everything an Edinburgh Award winner should be.
