Stuart has conceived, developed, led and presented national and international business awards and conferences, both for Caspian Media and for numerous corporations, associations and government departments. Has has great experience of working with celebrity speakers, event sponsors, business schools and politicians. He has a strong working knowledge of staging, presenting, script-writing and speaker briefing.
As an event creator, chairman and moderator, Stuart is highly experienced in programme and topic research and development, identifying and securing speakers/contributors, briefing participants, chairing and moderating panel discussions and interaction with audiences.

Stuart has many years of extensive experience in hosting, chairing and facilitating business events. These range from 1,400-guest awards ceremonies at the Grosvenor House to exclusive CEO-level dinners. He has moderated panel debates, “chat show and Question Time-formats on a wide range of business and financial issues.
A graduate of Magdalen College, Oxford - his contemporaries included Nicola Horlick, Luke Johnson and William Hague - Stuart was editor of Director magazine from 1989 to 1996. Under his leadership, the magazine won many publishing awards for its editorial and design, including the accolade of business magazine of the year.
In 1996 Stuart co-founded Caspian Media (http://www.caspianmedia.co.uk). He oversaw the launch of Caspian's award-winning publications including Real Business, Real Deals, Europe's market-leading private equity title, and successfully re-launched the CBI's monthly magazine Business Voice.
He helped transform the monthly membership magazine for Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE), Professional Engineering and merged two titles to create Financial Management, the monthly membership magazine of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA).
They also relaunched the membership magazine, and created a new website for the Chartered Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) and led a pan-European peer-review magazine European Business Forum
Stuart has developed customer magazines, specialist publications and multimedia content programmes for many blue-chip corporations and professional partnerships, including IBM, Vodafone Global Enterprise, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Atkins, HSBC, Lloyds Banking Group, Barclays Bank, Thales, Sodexo, Eversheds, White & Case, Microsoft, Livingstone Partners, League Managers Association.
